In addition to the core subjects of English, Maths and Science, all pupils from Year 1 – 6 study Geography, History, Computers, Art, P.E. (Physical Education), French, Music, R.E.(Religious Education) and P.S.H.E. (Personal, Social and Health Education). In addition to these subjects, the children are taught the skills of Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning which they will need when taking the entrance exams to independent secondary schools.
Each class has a class teacher who is responsible for teaching the majority of subjects. French, Music, PE and Computers are taught by specialist teachers to all year groups, including Reception.
