Every Friday, the whole school gathers in the main hall for our weekly school assembly. This is a time when we share celebrations, achievements, festivals and give thanks for our life and the wonders of our world.
During a school year, each class has the opportunity to take the school assembly. Often this will be about a topic that the children are learning in class and include songs, dance, artwork and information. Parents are invited to these assemblies and the pupils enjoy sharing this special time with them.
Representatives from charities such as the NSPCC and Barnardos come to speak to the children and promote fund raising activities for those less fortunate than ourselves. The response from parents to these charitable events is always very generous.
In September we have our annual Harvest Festival. Children and staff donate items of food. This year all the food donations were taken to the Brent Food Bank in Willesden Green which supports local people in crisis.
